I'm not a fan of politics, but no matter who you are, you have to admit that he was an amazing man.



I "carved" his portrait out of his Gettysburg Address which I think we all can learn a lot from.

This is pretty darned spiffy-looking, actually; and who wouldn't like Lincoln???

I really like the colors, though I think it would be better if the bottom weren't such a straight line.

Are the faint gray dotted lines on the design, did you write it all out? Looks Cool!

Wow. Awesome first submission! I agree about the straight line at the bottom, but it's so minor that it doesn't take away much from the design.

While this is well done and a different take on the usual type as a picture style, I must admit i'm kinda done with that specific way of doing text pics.

Since woot had a very similar shirt win a derby way back in April, i'd wager "forever" is a relative term.



Not to say this isn't done better, but it's simply not a concept that needed one shirt, let alone two.

Font should be more script-like, and the bottom should do something different. Perhaps make it bleed off the bottom?

The bottom kills it for me. the font doesn't help. But good layout man, you captured his likeness.

EARTH TO NEON TATTOO: I get how Americans have some snobby reputation of being the head honcho ignorant alpha dog on the playground since ive been fed the education and all the other crap on our ancestors even thou i cant change the past and i keep up with the real news. I believe displaying something a person feels passion for shouldnt take that shitty attitude that is an enormous uncalled for judgement for an"American" generilization. Before you "Chuck" you should do a little research on Abe Lyncoln and see what you extract. Instead of making EXTREMELY hurtful generalizations on "self indulgent American stuff" as you call it. All i have left to say is think about it before you sputter that shit out cuz im only 17 here and have more respect and maturity than to not go off on how fucking fabulous my heavenly nation is for simply hilighting this man who happens to be a respected figure in our country.
