Great drawing skills. But her face looks far more European than Japanese.
I think I'd like it better without the rising sun rays and the box and with the plane and girl completed.

Reminds me way too much of Tank Girl.

I must agree that the character could certainly look more Japanese - skin tone, eye shape, black hair instead of blonde. I think it might make the plane pop a little more if you included a white outline around the "zeros". As it is, the red circles are very close in proximity to the red sun rays. I know not all zeros/kamikaze planes had the white outline, but I think it would look really sharp here. And the image looks f'n great on the olive green. Overall a really great design. Also, what do the characters mean?
