American Donkey: Haha I know what you mean. It was not intended to be! Actually the model I used as reference had quite small lips, I actually made them bigger.
I think it's something about the pose and the combo of the brows and the lips...
When I finished the sketch I thought....oh crap it kind of looks like angelia jolie

I agree with yourkitten. That's definitely not Jolie. I could see how someone might make the mistake though since a lot of the face is implied. Nice design though.

My eye is drawn to her hairline too strongly, I think it's too defined.
