I'm sure exactly what the blinking on and off is supposed to be... does the rain glow, or are the outlines UV ink?

Either way, this is cute and a good way to work the concept, but I think the contrast would really kill its efficacy.

Sorry, I'd typed a whole explaination with my design - i guess it didn't come through... oh well.

The rain/fur of the animals glows in the dark to further emphasise the name. When the t is not glowing, it's a very straight forward design - you can see the animals and the rain, but in the dark you'll have this sort of eerie rain that takes on the shape of cats and dogs.

Any more comments... I'd love to hear your opinions.

awesome! there is already a raining cats and dogs teeshirt printed here, but i think the take on it is so different that it still has a good chance, great work $$

i like the idea of having the rain in UV so that the outlines of the animals aren't visible
fits well on the tee too

I don't get why some of the raindrops are UV. I think it'd make more sense/look better if all the raindrops were visible, then the UV ink just outlined the cats and dogs.
might just be me though.

either way, interesting take on the ol' phrase!

Thanks for all the comments :)

There seems to be some confusion with the inks - just to clarify: there's no UV inks, just glow in the dark. So in normal lighting all the lines (the whole design) would be visible.

I'm with Jellyes on this one but, you know, with glow-in-the-dark ink.
