I like it, Che is very cliche, and gas masks are way overused on Threadless

these "cliche" mockery shirts are getting to be a new cliche, tiem to kill myself

ha ha. gaara is right. is it ironic to write cliche on a cliched tee-shirt or just plain cliched? is it post cliche? post-neo-irony?

anyhow the artwork is fantastic. but che isnt my cup of revolutionary tea.

itsd makes me feel so post post neo ironic that i just dunno what to do with my self, i like it but i wouldnt wear it. perhaps if the text ran over whole of shirt almost hiding picture?

i don't buy this whole concept. putting the word cliche on your shirt doesn't make it cool because it's cliche.

even if it is a pay on his name..

Nice comments, guys.

I made this one about a year ago as a stencil on http://www.stencilrevolution.com. Then not long ago I was asked to make it a t-shirt. (thank you, Trainwindow)

So here it is: the all time cliche motives mixed into one. gasmask and ché guevarrgh! (and drips)

Funny how some of the most popular subjects in the two worlds of stencils and t-shirts seem to be somewhat the same.

Truantclothing >>> yeah I'll keep that in mind.

Rock on!

I don't think I understand the idea behind it, but dang if it don't look cool.

How do you not understand the idea? You, my friend, are an idiot.

Nice design, by the way.

man, nearly falls clean through the gasmask-butterflies-spraydrips-cutecurves/balls-45degree lines category. You'll have to protest louder man.

Well designed. But for some reason (and I really don't know where this came from), the thought of Liam Lynch making fun of the Pixies with his "Pixies Song" came to mind. No matter how "post neo irony cliched cliche" a work is, it's still self-defeating because it contains and embraces the elements it aims to put down in order to work. Just wait for CheWear.

i would like it better without the text

BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't need to own a shirt of all the things i hate.

this could be the cover to the next tony hawk proskater game. " Che G. Skater" coming to a game store near you. truantclothing is obviously not an artist or you would see this shirt is boring, and lame. yeah, you can use illustrator, but i just would rather see the energy used towards something original and smart....

Excellent comment, benny. Especially the many exclamation marks. They are pretty and nice.

bennyb: "but i just would rather see the energy used towards something original and smart...."

- like what? you got opinions but wheres the arguments?

focusonthechart: "No matter how "post neo irony cliched cliche" a work is, it's still self-defeating because it contains and embraces the elements it aims to put down in order to work."

- do you think that all work that uses irony is selfdefeating? well, propaganda dont contain the the elements it aims to put down, but propaganda onlys speaks to those who agree with the message, irony and humour can make you see the world in a new way. of course you can argue that there is TOO much irony - and not enough REAL opinions, but i think that slart oks work is irony and opionion combined.

The truth is that many of us are fed up with all that che-merchandise. so many of those people wearing the shirts dont have a clue that che wasnt that jesus-kinda-character that many believes, but more like a naive revolutionary romantic backpacker. sure he was brave and all, but his revolutions all resulted in misery for the local populations, and personal fiasco for himself.

i dig this one - 5
