I have seen numerous other designs similar to this one in different places, but I like how you added the blood to make it more original and interesting. And yeah, the blood should be more transparent and more "splatter"-like.

i agree, i even made a version that was a little more splatter like and for whatever reason i put this in the running instead... hmm.
