I can see a similarity between the two, but i still think they are different. The last thing i would want to do is knock off somebody else's work. I promise this design wasn't influenced by that shirt, but i do see where that comment would come from.

ginetteginette on Nov 25 '08 i don't think anyone is accusing you of that, it's just that it's worth knowing what has been done before because, like how the panda has been done before, this has very very very little chance of printing.
sometimes if you find out in the critique process that something has already been done the same way then it's to your advantage to try and make it as different as possible. |

Let it be. We must comment on every work in a constructive manner even though the idea is similar or been done a million times already and not to pinpoint that its not a winning design. Woot!

Yeah torturedtiki did point it out to me, but i thought my design still had it's own uniqueness and was still different. I appreciate the help though, but i agree with love monster.

Your design is different and is warrented it's own independant merits. Still, I've seen this style (and animal) done a few times.
Seen the exact same thing done with a Gorilla over on Design By Humans Then again, even that maybe the same as the Panda. |

^ thing about that gorilla is that the same artist made it as made the panda print.
i think this design here is bruised by the still quite new shirt. it stands on its own merits, but timing can be everything. |

jeez it looks identical to the gorilla shirt. I agree, it would make no sense to print such a similar shirt, but im new and just hoping for a decent score and stuff to work off of. I made it past the first day cut so im already pleased. Thanks for the comments!

That panda / bear / algore crap is made by stealing an existing image on google, livetracing it then shitting all over it with default downloadable brushes. Voila! You got yourself some art (if that's what that designer calls it) |

lol....irocko....i can't give this shirt a fair chance because i've seen something similar to it.....art is like 60% talent and 40% being ontop of the trends....
