FRICKINAWESOME on Nov 07 '08 I have no flippin idea what this fantastic contraption is supposed to represent, except for sensational use of everyday objects and a an awesome gradient and sketching pattern to create something interesting and vusally striking. So kudos on that.

The book is a bit odd to me so far. The main characters include the guy who wrote The Shadow and L. Ron Hubbard. I'm always a bit distracted when real people show up in my fiction, but it's good so far. It's about the era of pulps, and apparently something to do with solving the mystery of HP Lovecraft's death? I'm not too far into it yet, but it's intriguing. And probably totally unrelated to this design ;) |

I like it but I really don't like the placement.
This is something that I would prefer way off centre, maybe even under one sleeve so half is on the front and half on the back. But wonderful illustration. |
