On the subject about picking things, I thought I'd pass on a little something my Dad often says... " You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose*."
* The term 'Can't' in no way refers to defining this as an impossible or possible action, rather, refering to it as going against most socially acceptable practices within society and problems that can arise from unsolicited 'friend's-nose-picking' without prior consent.
I love the drawings and the door designs, i just wish there was abit more concept to this, just the smallest sprinkling to drive it all home. And maybe Chelly is right, just the one hand might make it more mysterious and offering the choice to the viewer.
this is really clever and interesting... i dont think the bottom hand is necessary... but if it does print, maybe that one diagonal line between the thumb and wrist should be removed...
About my design
I know the end of the "picking" hand isn't visible- there's not much to it, but if you want you can see it fully on my flickr...
