About the design

Submitted by Edamame Obake on October 22, 2008

My design is about my travels to my second home, Japan. In the summer time, there is a festival called the "Nebuta", which are large historic and mythical characters sculpted from rice paper and lit from the inside with lights. Many men carry the nebutas in the parade, it is so beautiful to see it travel up and down the streets.

Cool tradition! It's really hard to see what's going on right now with the design so small.
