i just wanted to say that the soundtrack for this tshirt design was Calexico's amazing and beautiful Toolbox album (especially the track Vinyassa); as well asSigur Rós' new album Með Suð í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust, especially the track Fljótavík. Here are those lyrics translated somewhat into english:
Fljótavík (place name in Iceland) We look over the rudder Cut off the sea We sail by the mast Stretch the sails We steer towards the bridge We sail ashore Up on the large rocks and the sand We wade ashore What a mess Fuckin’ yeah! There I found myself Endlessly thanking Sheltered in a makeshift house And we slept As the storm died down seriously, those songs are incredible and really helped with the visualisation of this design. thanks so much for voting! |

I love this design... I wish I'd seen it when it was being scored. I'm watching... waiting...
Seeing your icon makes me think this would be amazing with some of the glow in the dark ink that's on tief fairies... especially with how jellyfish shimmer. This really deserved a better score. I think people probably went into autopilot because it didn't jump out and punch them in the eye sockets... precisely why it's so literally dreamy and lovely... (my own kitty is twitching and dreaming away... I feel like joining her in an early-day nap on this dreary weathered afternoon!) |
