Hi,



the idea behind this design was to focus on the idea of culture shock which we experience when we travel, especially to destinations that are so far removed from our own. the first time I experienced this was when in my early 20's I took a trip to Morocco. It was like being hit by a wall of wonder and awe.



The design therefore was putting opposites together in this case a group of polar bears have parachuted from the sky and find themselves on a tropical island.



what happens next?...





I think the design will work best on the stronger coloured t-shirts at the moment its set up for a 5-colour but this could be expanded upon.





any criticism positive or negative is always appreciated.

Copy slash paste makes for a boring design, and the cut-off at the bottom looks awkward.

I agree with WarDrobeInSpareOom. Plus, I think that this is more a mock-up than a final design. It could have been done in word with basic shapes.



You seem to have good ideas, you just have to keep working your technique.

The bears are cute, but they're all identical from what I can see, you should try varying them, make them look more natural.

i like the one bear, with the butterfly, by itself, actually.

I'd like this better with just the one bear.

Ditto to the two above, great butterfly-nose bear!

I'm with he three people above me. He's great! the rest is- less great.

The funny thing here is that we don't have polar bears in Iceland... Every few decades, you may see one that has hitched a ride on ice. But.. 3 were spotted this year and it became one of the hottest stories. Everybody in Iceland were talking about polar bears and how the hell they got here. So yeah.. it's actually very relevant to the prize :)

not gonna lie, i like the shirt, but yes, i think it would be better if the bottom was lower and maybe faded. : )
