An important thing to consider in design is the social and cultural meanings behind the symbols you use. Taken innocently it is very clever witty and cool.
However...
I wouldn't buy it because of the implications it might have within the gay community. I could be wrong, and I'm sure there will be lots of people who disagree with me, even members of the gay community, but the first thing I though of when I saw it was gaybashing.
Sorry if I popped a bubble there. Its unfortunate that we live in a world where people actually kill other people because of their sexuality, and would see a shirt like that and appreciate it as an anti gay message, but its reality.

If it is any consolation, once I realized what it really was I did like it, and it is VERY well designed.

Ugh, i didn't take it AT ALL like bgonzalez did, although i can certainly see his point. I love the highlights on all your characters and the idea of killing off shiny happy fantasy crap is great....if it was a unicorn it would be fine apparently, but Dick Firestorm/Olie's tee "THE LAST FUCKIN' UNICORN!" already did that. I'm still 4$'ing it, i love the idea behind it and will plead ignorance on the homophobic issue if anyone would stop me and think about it that way.

gays don't own cartoon rainbows. i don't see how you can make that connection at all without forcing one. what's that storm cloud then? black people? society in general? it doesn't make any sense.
if it was a person attacking a rainbow i'd maybe understand the connections more but to me, a cloud throwing lightening at a rainbow is pretty innocent no matter how you slice it.

This is amazing, and I love the details on everything especially the cloud's gold lining and mouth. I wish i didn't have to say this but I wouldn't wear this with the fear that someone would call me anti homosexual. I will still give it a five though because it is a sweet shirt
