About my design
by Toriff
Hey there, this is my first submission, nothing fancy by way of design but hopefully you find a bit of wit to it.

I tried to take the concept of travel in a different direction away from planes trains and automobiles. In todays world of electronics and rechargers we are always in need of a power source and when traveling the question is which one? This design asks "Where are we going?" to which hopefully the answer can be explained with one of the various power outlets shown.

I *think* every country is covered, if you use a different power socket that I haven't included sorry but I've only ever had to use one in my life heh.

If this somehow does get printed I think the puff ink would suit it well.

This is clever. I like the idea of puffy ink.

think this would be nice with white sockets on a much bolder tee-shirt colour - red, or navy etc

i think that if this had pretend scribbles on it turning all of them into faces/caricatures of the different societies they were from this would be super awesome !
as is though, it seems like a half-baked idea to me that looks pretty dull on the shirt :\

I like the bolder color idea, keeping the sockets white and black.

Oh sheesh. GG was a little harsh. Its stage one, and needs some refining (like the hand script is a little yuppy) but its the start to what could be a very clever idea ;D

The concept is almost perfect, the execution is a yawner. 2

I would get rid of the box and I agree with the bolder colored shirt. Awesome idea.

bgonzalez, how was i harsh when you said the same thing as me (that it needed refining) sans pointing her in a new direction?

Thanks, I appreciate the comments, glad others like the idea :)

I like the idea so I'll keep working at it and submit it as a critique until I get a solid design for the concept.

i think its pretty sweet, but if it was white sockets on a colored shirt and if it was belt printed all over it would be REALLY boss! good idea!

Wow trishblabla, I had never even seen that design, but I guess there isn't much leeway when it comes to drawing symbols of power points and hence the similar look.

I simply tried to address the threadless loves 'Travel' theme!
