It's patently a rip-off of an existing printed design. If you were told about 'Ticket To Ride' and still carried on with this one, you've wasted your time in my opinion.

what does burnz mean? extra attention? what? i'm just trying to get a design out there sorry you hate that i put it out there a little too late (after the plane one)
burnz as in hector telling you twice to stop spamming your links on people's designs and you keep doing it. that's excepted in the critique section only and even there it's annoying as hell.
Yeah... that quote by Picasso, you mean? That's called irony. But I'm not completely surprised that it's lost on you
alright. enough hating on me. back to the design- let it stand alone- compare it or not. look at it for what it is.
ginetteginette, if ya don't like it don't buy it or vote for it. Go on to somewhere else with ya "nice" self, ha!
I like it. Very nice placement and good job rendering your idea =) Those whining about it being similar to the other shirt need to get a life. This shirt is superior in craft and a different subject.
HA! I can relate to this! I get so cranky when I don't get a ticket stub back! 5$$
And thanks for the kind words on my tee! |
Cool idea! Also, the saturation of colors seems to affect my emotional reaction to this image... and make me think I might want one!
Well, vanilla ice is one of thousands of artists that have sampled someone else's song. Point being?
fatheed, you're correct; the principle of intellectual property escapes some because it involves the concept of INTELLECT. :)
wtf is up wit votard^...if you don't have one thing good to say about a shirt...don't bother talkin shit bout it...i love this...5$
You are all ridiculous, you know that right?...
It's a fucking tshirt design. Yeah, Moss did something exactly like this and it got printed here. So what? No need to act like assholes. |
Haha, nice choice Tonteau. OK, I should have read through the previous comments more carefully. I was just re-hashing what's already been said which must be really tiresome at this point. What's funny is that I actually dig this design and under different circumstances would have given it a 5$.
Anyway, we all have slips in judgement. I was put through the wringer over a past sub actually, if it makes you feel any better - Union Bunny I was quite defensive about it at the time but realized my critics might have had a point. It was a very unpleasant experience and you had it about 100 times worse so I feel badly for you. But look on the bright side. If you sub another design it will already have some built-in interest and people will be watching it closely. Normally it's quite difficult to get noticed on this site, so use that interest to your advantage and turn things around by creating a design that blows everyone away. |

Damn there seems to be so much anger in that ginette, maybe she needs to get laid. Or maybe she cant...
lulz @ everyone picking on me even though fatheed had some harsher words. i don't have a shield so i guess i don't know what i'm talking about! hit me!
i like how almost everyone is assuming everyone was being super harsh and angry in this blog. rationalizing things doesn't not translate well on the internet, i guess.
peace y'all |
I like this a lot even though it does use the same kinda technique I think it's a good tee on it's own merit.

This is a collection of ticket stubs completely redone to yield ANY copyrighted material shaping an electric guitar. Instead of using company, concert, venue or any real band names, parody names are substituted. i.e. "ticketblaster" instead of "ticketmaster," "marz voltage" instead of "mars volta," "ticketjon" instead of "ticketron" and so on.
It uses no special printing methods. It measures approx. 6" x 18" and is slightly wrapped around the side of the tee. It uses all 8 colors.
