An alloy of the Vikings mysticism & cruelty... No, seriously - wonderful style, nice choice of colors & perfect placement! Well done!

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all of your feedback and especially your encouraging words.
A special thanks, however, goes out to tsatterfield reminding me of my family's proclivity for crack exposure and to Babbs66 not only for her lovely comments, but also for not drowning me at birth (as she probably should have done). Be nice to 'em gang, them thar is kin. |

Thanks for all of the great comments you guys. And to everyone who voted. This was the best score I've ever gotten on here I think.

This shirt is based on my favorite historical myth from childhood. I started out imagining famous travel or exploration events from history to serve as inspiration, but I kept coming back to this image. I know that Iceland and Greenland weren't intentionally named as misleading descriptors to throw off viking invaders, but I wish I still believed they were. Myths are often more interesting than the truth.
The design is only 3 inks (the green is a half-tone of the yellow over blue) and a white puff-ink (for the fuzzy boots and horns) on a natural shirt.
