Really LOVE the feathers.

I'd personally have them and nothing else.

Perhaps on a different colour shirt.

nice job on those feathers.

It almost seems as though there's too much of a separation as far as style... between the feathers and the birds above. Maybe if you added some more intricate qualities to the birds.

you could just have the feathers coming from the shoulder and then it would look like the person wearing it was a pirate, lol....nice job on the feathers, btw

i just threw up all over the place....a feather must have gotten lodged in my throat

bird is way too soft edged and simple and the concept is very elusive

nice, simple graphic. the feathers seem overly detailed for the style created by the bird...perhaps loose the feathers and try just the bird graphic...also, i think the white could knock out to gray....

Tnx for your comment, but remember: it's the first shirt i made.

Can you please explain 'concept is very elusive', my english isn't that good i believe... :S

Thanks for the comments all, I do agree the feathers are a different style then the bird itself (B stands for Bird :) )

Maybe I should play a bit with the design (lose the bird/feathers, seperate shirts, etc.)

Nice Feathers the main image gets really lost in its self and hard to separate. I think you just need to really fine tune the image. And for your first t-shirt design congrats i think this is an honorable first try. Now lets see you makes this into a total winner cause i think youve got a nice start. I like the gothic old english B in side the image....i think whats causing the confusion is the white elemtns in the image its really throuwing my eyes off. Go back in and just really consider what you want to do and what each of these parts are saying in relationship to themselves and to a vewier looking at it from a distance. Look man the way you got down and dirty with those feathers at the bottom is good stuff no seeif you can bring some of that to the main image...think composition example: the feathers should just fall in a straight line bellow your main image have them move across the t-shirtguiding the eys and creating visual interest through out your t-shirt. Well im done so please keep going i think you got something good but you gotta work at it good luck to you

Thanks, that really helps me on my way!

But what I couldn't find browsing on threadless:

If I update this shirt, do I have to post it as a new shirt?

Cause if that's so, I won't bother you guys with 16 different versions, I'll just put updates of it on my own webspace and place a link here... I'm really interested in all your opinions.

And btw, what does that '5' or '3' mean on the score shirts indexing page that lays as a layer above my thumbnail?

Tnx so far

concept is elusive----means i don't understand this....congrats on doing your first one though!

DeFCon always has good comments....i'd say make the claws more pointy and the bird needs to be more rough edged and pointy beak. maybe don't even need the feathers, or make them smaller, and what is the B for?

very nice. i usually hate seeing people say i like it but in another color but i think it should be something else instead of grey.

well... what do you suggest then? :)

(If I change Tee color I should change bird/feather colors as well (tried this)...)
