yeah the idea of scribbling a shape is cool and all but it really really does look like the eagle from american eagle- just flipped- so if you dont want to have your 'original design' confused with a huge clothing corporations logo- then dont scribble a freaking eagle with its wings spread.

maybe if you use the same style with the eagle in a different position, or even use a different bird you won't have the issues with american eagle.
