this would be cool without the words

it's says "back" to me

like BACK! BACK!

the thought bubble is weird and probably because of the thresholded image, the feet look really kinda disjointed

Sorry about your Dad. ;)

There is only one word on the shirt... so I'm not quite sure what you mean by "without the words."

The bark is in cursive, so I tried to be sure to make it clearly bark insteat of back because you do run that risk. I drew it a few times accordingly. This one is pretty clearly bark to me. But I know what you mean. The thought bubble isn't really a thought bubble. I think a talk bubble would look stupid and it's predictable. I used a styled thought bubble instead. It's a shirt. So it's not really important that it's clear whether the penguin is speaking or thinking. ;) As for then feet. It's based on a couple images of a penuin. If you zoom in the feet are more clear. They do overlap... but they would at this angle. I intentionally left a small gap between the tail and feel to make sure the tail wasn't confused as another foot.

Thanks for the comments.

if a penguin killed your dad, then he probably deserved to die.

i read it as 'bark'...

... until i saw the trail of footsteps, and I then assumed that it said 'back'... indicating the return of the long journey.

Odd... 'back' seems to be more relevant
