shirt climbing
About the design
on September 21, 2008
the crumple of the shirt will create the illusion of mountain rock surface, therefore it gives me an idea to project a rock climber climbing upward on the shirt as each time you wear on it. the crumple part will looks different, making the climber feel alike climbing hard on your shirt.

i LOVE THIS!
i mean the design!
wombatgal
I have the strangest feeling that the placement of this design will look a little... ahem strange on those of us with mammary glands.
lawrence loh
oops... actually i did think about the design like putting the top of the carabiner on the nipple part, and the t-shirt surface turn into the human body muscle kind of illustration ;P
FRICKINAWESOME
This idea has been done a bunch of times, but usually with a bunch of people as opposed to one figure. I like how realistic you have done it, like he is actualy traversing the person. I want one of these designs to print, so this one would most certainly do!
bennyd302
pretty clever, like frickinawesome said, its been done...but i like the way you executed it
_tashii
Yeah thats TOTALLY awesome but it looks as if its drifted too far across the tee for me, and maybe you should acctually put the clip on the niple as u said b4 because this way it looks like the person wearing it has a saggy tit
I mean, seriously think about it, no matter where u put that, it's gonna look like a niple anyway, so you might aswell put it where it belongs

thanks guys, i think i still have a lot of things to brush up on my design in order to compete with others. will try to come up more ideas.
Syncos
I really love this. Which makes me sad, because I was developing something using the same concept. but yours is executed very, very well. I'd wear it. 5$
just curious though, what's with the shadow of his cord, it's all wavy, though the cord is pulled straight, and that area of the shirt is shown to be pulled straight by his foot.....
exitheory
This is an excellent idea! you could get great sales at an outdoor/rock climbing gear store.
I agree with Syncos, regarding the location of the protection to the right of the blokes knee. To make it even more realistic (you've already gone the full hog, so why not add a little bit more realism....) the carabiner should be stretching to the left more (not very much, but noticable) as the rope would be pulling it this way with the tension. Kind of an example here might give you the idea.
The carabiners also look like they are just hanging over big nails instead of 'hooked into something (I used to be a climber, hence these comments).
I really like this design and thinks it's rather clever. If it doesn't sell on threadless, there is definetly a niche market for this tee. So go and make it - regardless!
montymoose
I agree with Wombatgirl. Us lassies couldn't get away with wearing it. But I really like the design and I love the way the material gathers and folds under his feet and the way it looks like his left hand is grabbing the material. Cool
Luke...
haha, fun concept

hahahaha! $5

I haven't actually seen another design like this, even though I'm sure it's been done before. But so what? You did an awesome job, I could really see this printing.
keithcw
Good job on the illustration!
Andromache

lotusseed
hmmm, love it but agree about the mammary glands thing!
viennagirl
