It's a clever idea but shouldn't the outlines be on the back of the shirt? This way, people will be hugging you from behind.

Maybe it's meant to be a heimlich?
The idea is cool, but I tend to think this could've used a(nother) pass through the critique process... the dots are too wavey and uneven for me, there's a smudgey thing in the lower arm, the font/lettering could be more 'instructional' (all caps?)... Nice idea, but I think it needs more work.... |

this reminds me of a bear hug one that i saw that was either an actual shirt or a submission a year or two ago. but it's a nice idea. still think it should be on the back of the shirt though.

I can see wearing this shirt, then choking, and then when somebody sees my sorry state and my clever shirt, they will think: I can help! then with their triumphant procedure of the heimlich maneuver, they will be a hero, and at their workplace they will be commended and given a plaque, and a ham, but it turn out the person is a vegitarian, then they will be sad that a pig died because of them and they will blame you!

This is similar to a design I did for an old COLOURlovers competition.

i think this should be printed on the back
it would make more sense that way, unless you want somebody to come up from behind you and hug you thereby placing their hands in that position. but put it on the back and its a real hug. |
