My original idea for the Loves Drawing competition was going to be a play on Escher's famous hand-drawing-a-hand piece, but I soon saw that someone else had already submitted something along those lines, and realized it wasn't such an original idea after all. That said, I commenced to create "Animalia", which is a play on Alphabet Zoo, an earlier Threadless print, and Graeme Base's picture book of the same title. It also includes my nod to such classics as The Hound of the Baskervilles, Moby Dick, Puss in Boots, Jungle Book, and The Wizard of Oz, and plays on the Adam and Eve story, Steve Irwin, and Nintendo's Mario Kart. There is also a Jackalope.

I can't wear their white and creme or natural shirts... they are just too see through... if this is on another color... I'm so there. I love this design, and honestly... I think white makes it look less interesting than it truly truly is. I could overlook it on white. Give it a background color that flatters your vector shades and I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

also: HOODY. Not so low, though. HOODY. And kids shirt, too. but HOODY. It's SCREAMING to be on one.

agreed, this would make a fabulous hoody. it would be the most kickass hoody to ever grace my closet. $5 as tee, hoody, AND print!
