first dontbethekid: it is kind of hard to read in this preview, but if you can imagine it if it were printed, the text would be quite large and reasonably easy to read, if you were refering to the colour of the text, then i did that on purpose, because i wanted the 'i am special' to be the focus, then have the 'or so my parents say' as the kind of joke that you only see if you look at it properly...



and la, i kind of wanted to say that origionally, but the problem was that this is an american site, so they would spell it mOm, and i would prefer it to say mUm, so i just skiped the issue and change it to parents....

what about "so my mother says" :)

regardless its still a bit to specific... there's the stereotype of the mumma's boy and daddy's girl... but there has to be the opposite as well. or what if a girl wore the t... then she would have to be a mumma's girl.. or what if someone didnt have a mum.. i thought about it all when i was choosing the wording, and parents just seemed generic enough to work for most people

i'm not shooting, but at some point the design needs to stand on its own. keep submitting.

I've seen this before too, but not in this style which makes it original and unique. The sketch effect is cool.

I think it looks good with the "Or so my parents say" being hard to read. It sort of makes that as a point - it's like mumbling something you don't want someone else to hear.

i think it's a bit too much like those pins that say "you laugh because i'm all different, I LAUGH BECAUSE YOU'RE ALL THE SAME LOLOLOL!!11!one"



the design itself is nice, but what it actually says is hackneyed. maybe recycle this lettering style on a more clever idea?

The text looks really cool, but I hate those kinds of shirts with the dumb lines. "Can't sleep, the clowns will eat me" "you're just jealous because the voices only talk to me" etc.

Ive seen this shirt way too many times... everywhere i go i see kids wearing them... its not original at all
