If we wanted to be academic, it should actually be labelled 'flying saucer', but there is nothing in the least bit silly about that. Flying saucers are almost always refered to as UFOs. The fact that you call it a UFO yourself kind of underlines what I'm saying.
I welcome your opinion, but what I've done is completely intentional - and for me, that object/label sets the tone for the rest of the design. |

I like the objects themselves, but I'd love it if they were more interactive instead of looking so chart like... example (which unfortunately makes me think this might not be done because it IS so similar in idea) is the land of 1000 dances shirt that has lots of wordplay going on... check that one out to see what I personally think might make this flow better... it's kind of strange to see so many shirts on here lately that are just equally spaced columns and rows of individual objects. Guess I like things to look more like one picture instead of a set of clipart objects to pick from. Like I said, though, I think the actual pictures are generally really good ... too bad you can't be upfront about things like English nanny without someone claiming copyright mess! It's clever this way, but also takes longer to digest which isn't always good for shirts since... well, a couple minutes is the maximum study time before awkwardness is reached even if you're acquainted.

I agree with 1imitedwarranty in that the UFO being on a 'IFO' shirt bothers me. I guess you could call it irony like you did above, but I would have liked the shirt if it had extraterrestrial spacecraft or vehicle something along that lines - similar to your E.T. reference.... but I guess it's too late for that.
