those are some bad shadows. you realize that a shadow does not have a specific colour? it changes depending on what kind of ground it sits on. it should just be a darker shade of the t-shirt colour the design is printed on.
these grey shadows are one of my major threadless pet-peeves.
I like the design; it is fresh and simple and immediately conveys its intended message.
As for the shadow, it is grabbing at straws (or maybe hen scratching) to pick apart the color of the shadow. If the design was on black or a dark shirt like the brown you have to have a lighter color to show the shadow. After 17+ years in the apparel industry, my customers dictate how they want a design represented. It may not always be, as a fine art teacher would teach a student.
Great Design!
The cutout filter and the very basic chrome effect are really, really not helping.
Also, a visual representation of an idiom for its own sake, with nothing added, does not necessarily make a good shirt design. ...I've been waiting a long time to say that around here...
The egg shells wrap around the side of the shirt. This design looks good on several colors, but these are my favorites.
I hope you love it! $!$!
