Usually I have a bit more involvement and throw ideas out to LBB and others on Threadless to get a project off the ground, but Lunchboxbrain saw this slogan and knew what direction he wanted to go in right away, diving into this idea with the ferocity of a child in a pool filled to the brim with chocolate pudding. Aside from the slogan, placement of the words and some color options, this is Lunchboxbrain's baby, and he did a super-fantastic job on bringing this slogan to life and deserves a ton of praise for this one! |

Love it in red, and I really like seeing how well a great slogan can be "designed" and made all pretty for those who want more than the stereotypical type tee. To quote a former presidential candidate, "You're putting 18 million cracks in that glass ceiling" for future slogans, boys!

Here's how the whole thing went down:
I emailed FA and said "Dude, you're 'I'm No Artist But I'm Very Good At Drawing A Blank' slogan would be a perfect collab opportunity for the Loves Drawing comp" and FA was all "Hellz yes! Let's do this thang!".
Seeing as how this comp is all about drawing, I took to my sketch book and started drawing the type for the slogan (see #1 in the presentation). After that, I arranged the words and redrew everything in Illustrator (see #2 in the presentation). I posted initial drafts and revisions on the blogs, got some great feedback (thanks fellow bloggers!!), conferred with my collab partner Frickinawesome on color options and voila, I'm No Artist was born. There are two tasty tee options (see #3 in the presentation) for your eyes to feast on. Please wait four seconds for the design and two tee options to rotate through.
