As an example of the very old assignment, yours is a great idea, but ... (1) it's still too close to the cliche mouse becomes cheese, and (2) your increments need a lot of work. Numbers 3 and 4 are almost the same and there's no indication between 5 and 6. Since you're seeing the entire progression at once, not one frame at a time, it's okay to have more of the progression in frame 5, know what I mean? (If it were a comic strip then no). Nice work

Oh, and you might want to play around with offsetting the middle ones just a bit. The organic drawing style works against the linear grid but not in a way that creates tension.
