its pencils making a fingerprint.. pretty cleaver I think.

There are times when "I don't get it" is a very valid comment.
I don't believe this is one of those times. Each piece of artwork is different, like each fingerprint is different. *shrug* I think it's a good idea, though I think some people won't like the repetitive pencil (copy/paste). I would prefer it either on a darker color or to have the pencils colored-in in some manner. Nice concept! |

The uniform from the Museum of New Zealand is a large thumbprint. Yours is cooler, but it just reminds me of our museum.

i think a little bit more variety in the pencils could be better
like maybe some of them chewed up or something, or shorter ... maybe? but i guess that would effect the fingerprint... |

Very cool, though I agree that the pencils should vary a bit in design.

I'd wear it - some bright orange / red for the eraser part on the pencil maybe? Awesome idea though.

Makes sense to me -- I also see it as the pencils tying in with the finger print because finger prints = identity. And the pencils seem to say that drawing is something that one 'identifies' with.
