I think this is a fantastic idea, and this is a wonderful illustration. Unfortunately, the internet has forever ruined the image of two hands pulling open any kind of hole. In short: wonderful design, lamentable association.

The color is nice and furryness of the monster is a nice affect, kind of like a friendly monster.
I recommend having either two eyes or making the black circle look more like an eye. |

Incredibly goatse. Maybe if you could see both eyes and the monster wasn't the color of guts it would be less instant-goatse-esque.

I really like the idea, but I feel like it needs some refining. You can't really tell what the monster is, until you stare at it a little. Just work on it a little. I would really like to see this as a shirt.

oooh....wow...thats...not even fair....I had to google it...ruined the t-shirt for me...my system is now in shock...I still have the will power to give this shirt a 4...but...man....my whole body went numb from shock of that image...DO NOT SEARCH GOATSE

There is so little of the monster visible that it is hard to determine what it is until you have been told.

It reminds me of the old Powell Bones Brigade skeleton. Almost the same pose! I would work with the fuzz a bit to make it more natural.
