About the design
I've been drawing (on paper) since I was a kid, and drawing with a tablet for about 2 years. I use both methods to produce most of my imagery, things are sketched then fleshed out with a combination of traditional and digital methods.
Working digital has really opened up what I do and allows me a lot of freedom. I can literally try a thousand experiments and undo any I do not like.
As you may see on the process tab, this was first a sketch, then penciled, inked and then scanned. From there I wanted the building to be taller so I separated and printed out a copy. I added the missing ink with a pen, rescanned, then worked with a tablet to refine and finish the image.
