I once had the privliage to sit in on an inspiring talk about failure. The woman giving the speach was a actriss and she magiced her way into our hearts within 6minutes with slides to match. Basically she convinced us that artistic failure was a nessary part of the path to artistic succuss, if we fear filure, we will not attempt it in the first place...

clearly I have to disagree with the masses as well and say that to me, the design really pops most on the WHITE... because it's done in blacks predominantly, you lose a lot of great linework on a black shirt. Still, the critic creatures are brilliantly oppressive. They really look like they're examining the little dude as they surround him. My only critique (irony?) is that it's very insular, or at least I think that's the word I'm going for... by making this about an art contest while in an art contest, it loses a bit of mass appeal. A little less text, or less specific text, and I'd think this would be a total winner.

I think the topic of the shirt has hindered anyone from saying anything negative- no one wants to be the critic hovering over the art. But sometimes we need that so we grow.

About my design
Make sense?
Packet was just about to post his submission, when it occurred to him that his little creation didn't look quite so good anymore. The more he looked at it, the more convinced he became that it was stupid, simple and childish. Why hadn't he seen this before? He could almost feel the critics lurking in the shadows, waiting to pounce on it and rip it to shreds.
