I think this is quite ambitious and interesting, though maybe a little too much for a t-shirt. The jarring reds might be contributing to the visual clutter, but there are shadows and hatching and linework going in so many different directions making it difficult to discern what's happening in your scene. Tone it down a little (try to use one style of shadowing, for instance), investigate new color pallets, and work on the layout...then you'll be on to something amazing to fit the concept. 3
