A little too simple. Could be a very cute illustration, though. I like how you've used the negative space.

It is very simple. I actually like it. I wish there was more going on, possibly a message, but the image itself is very nice. Perhaps move the placement lower and make the image a little bigger, and also roate the image like you show in the closeup.
