The purple shirt color totally emphasizes that totally 80s vibe that goes w/bad fashion (but in a mucho good way). Although I, too, am quite the fan of the Bjork-tastic swan dress, I also absolutely love the baggy I [heart] Wham sweatshirt. I'll even bet that if the cop's arm wasn't in the way, we'd see that the sweatshirt has been cut up, Flashdance style. But, dudes! Where are MC Hammer pants and legwarmers?
$5 anyway. There's enough bad fashion here for a few months of Glamour Don'ts. |

Awesome shirt. I prefer placement on the side because the image is bigger on it and thus easier to view.
When I first looked at it, I saw a bunch of people and couldn't immediatly distinguish the police from the crowd. It was on closer inspection that the idea became clear. The title really drove it home, but the idea is present without the title. If you decide to make changes (which you don't really have to), I would move the appropriately dressed people to the side as onlookers. That way they don't seem part of the crowd allowing the funny dressed people and fashion police to stand out more and thus convey the idea in a clearer way. I'm a big fan of FrickinAwesome. |

Mchera, thanks a bunch for your thoughts. KDLIG and I were concerned about the regular onlookers not being harassed, and we actually did move them ore to the side than the original few sketches had them. I think if this was printed it would be a lot more obvious who was who, but I agree we could of put them even further over now in retrospect. This is about the 4th or 5th version of the design, I should upload them to show the process to ya. This was such a super-fun collab with KDLIG, she and I had a ball making up all the outfits that would go into the sub. |
