Do the colours symbolise anything?

For me, they symbolize any democratic system whereby votes are tallied up and the one with the most votes wins. I wanted to challenge myself to create a design that was not necessarily specific to my own country, The United States of America.
Understanding the reach of this thing called the internet, I wanted to attempt a more subtle approach to this "Loves" and one that would have more universal appeal. Thanks for your comments! |

About my design
In the true egalitarian system, the whisper has just as much power as the shout. Strength is gained through participation. The lone, outsider piece is a symbolic reminder of the neglected vote, the wasted vote, and therefore, the vote not counted.
Oversimplified? Perhaps, but why not? Democracy should be this easy.
