It;s high time the Grim Reaper updated his reaping equipment. It's the 21st century for Pete's sake!

This is a really great illo and a fun take on the reaper man, but when i saw the design flashed big before the tee preview i was hoping it was GIGANTIC on the tee....I think it would really increase your chances of being printed if this was a belt print on a white tee and wrapped around the tee perhaps, or just took up the entire front. nice stuff!

quite obviously, still a good tee

It should most def take up most of the tee to add to the cool factor.

Lovely concept and illo, but I have to say our old friend Death doesn't look all that Grim Reaper-ish to me. Perhaps if you added the outline of a skeletal face, or the shadow of an eye socket? At the moment, it looks more like an elderly monk or something...

I just checked out mjranum's DA profile- wow he's got some great studio photography which I'd never seen before, I was actually inspirerd by Eddie Izzard, the funniest transvestite ever. And about death failing to look grim-reaper-ish, I feel the creepy bony hand holding the mower should give it away rather clearly that this is death we're dealing with- normally the scythe does that, but seeing as the whole point is to replace it...

Anywho, thanks for your comments!!

I don't like the smudgey look around it. If you did wrap it around like FA said, then I think the chances of it getting a higher than you want score, will happen.

nice preset photoshop brushes you have there...

I do like the illustration and concept, though. I agree it should be bigger.

reminds me of Willy Wonka's boatride to hell scene "ARE THE FIRES OF HELL A-GLOWING? IS THE GRIZZLY REAPER MOWING?"

anyways, $5

While I agree with the majority on a much bigger print (probably on white), if it were to be printed as is, it'd need to be on black as you show in the comp... it would allow the background to blend into the shirt... as it is, it's just too rigidly outlining the illustration. with a contrast too stark, the shape will look all wrong.
