Well, I didn't get this design submitted in time for the 'Loves' comp, but I hope you will still enjoy it. This piece is a return to the Shanghai era when the city was ravaged by opium, and the unsavory elements that came along with the trade.

Oh, that is lovely. Ooh. I thought the woman was a man at first, but I love the smokiness of it all and the awesomely-placed highlights from the fire. The color contrast from the light is wicked. Love the textures of the bricks and the... curtain?-- as well.
