Not every shirt can be considered racist (that's a pretty dumb thing to say)but this one has strong racist undertones whether intentional or not.

I don't think you meant this at all, but this shirt could easily be construed as racist, and my first reaction to it was shock at the racist undertones, so I would not wear it. However, as an artist, I think you have a good style and I like your attention to detail. The characters in your designs fit together very easily, and create a strong story-feel. I would proudly wear something you designed, just not this.

Unfortunately whether you like it or not this design could be percieved to be racist even though the intentions are so obviously not racist. This kind of illustration would have originally appeared in a time of racial ignorance, as a cartoon for comedy value rather than artistic merit, so for me it is all too close to being a reminder of the history of racism, rather than being racist itself. What I really wanted to say though was YOU ARE A BRILLIANT ARTIST, I can't wait to see what you do next.

The design is nice, but personally, I find this design offensive to black people as obviously most New Orleans Jazz musicians are black.

It's a great illo but the racial connection detracts from the wearability.
