About my design
by tedzsee
This is a shirt for all the eco-crusaders out there who want to join in a mission to save the earth. Forgive the dumpy design. Comments?
COLOURS: TWO (yellow and white)
SHIRT COLOUR: light blue

i don't think i get your message...
pollution creates habitats?

also did you just say forgive the dumpy design? you want us to overlook the design to rate it? what?

this is supposed to have a sarcastic tone? i don't really get it.

ginetteginette, i don't seriously expect this to become an actual t-shirt. i mostly just posted it to see how things work on this website, in terms of posting stuff. as for juliestudmac... yes, it sort of is meant to be sarcastic. But those are meant to be seagulls at a garbage dump... which is their habitat...

I think the design would look better outside the square...the yellow would be better brighter, and not mustard colored...and I don't quite understand the message. But it looks nice, it has a pleasant graphic quality, I like it.

the design is pleasant, but it looks very little like a garbage dump
it looks like generic stylized ground..?

The text is definitely bizarre, because the sarcasm isnt clear (or, I think, necessary)

Boxing in the design is a bad idea. Also, it may not hurt to add more recognizable garbage on the ground, say a banana peel or a barrel.

The birds look nice and the colors you chose i think were a good choice. I don't know what to say about the text. Without it, the shirt doesn't make as much sense. The best designs don't need text (in my opinion).

"This is a shirt for all the eco-crusaders out there who want to join in a mission to save the earth. Forgive the dumpy design."

Because the earth isn't in danger, right?
You're posting on a t-shirt DESIGN website, so no, we cannot forgive the dumpy design.

If you wanted to figure out how things works on threadless, why not try reading about how things work?

I don't mind the text and those two colors work well together, but if you were to take this seriously then try what mchera suggested. Add some actual garbage in different colors to set it off.

thank you... i appreciate the comments like mchera''s and teecharts. That's what I meant when I said feedback appreciated. As I said, I was just posting this because I had a graphic idea and wanted to know whether it worked or not. ;)
