Maybe her breasts could have been covered by lily pads or flowers or something instead? Just a little more natural. I love it though, gorgeous!

yes, this is similar to the ophelia but only in that she is in the water. with this design, you can actually tell she is in water...with the other, you couldn't. the ophelia is rigid and cold and not something i'd wear on a shirt. this design is beautifully done, with great artwork and really isn't worth comparing to the other. and her breasts do look a little bit off/lopsided, but a lot of women are cursed with having two breasts that are different sizes.

Maybe lily pads on the chest (as previously suggested) would work better. This is similar to the Ophelia shirt, but isn't this one an angel? Well, I like this one a little better I think.

even if a shadow of something softened her breasts... anything but a weird piece of cloth that she isn't actually wearing, including androgeny of a sort (not man-boobs, just something non-human perhaps)

I always enjoyed this painting of Ophelia, and the fact that the woman who was posing in a bathtub for Millais caught a bad cold because the water was freezing. The girl's father got really angry and made Millias pay for her medical bills. Hehe Nice work, btw. |
