Don't just take pride in democracy - take part in it! Sometimes we all get so caught up in talkin' the talk that we forget to walk the walk - so DONT FORGET TO VOTE!!1!



My design is primarily based on the popular archaically drawn black fist symbol associated with the black power movement with a note tied around the finger as a reminder to vee-ohh-tea-eee. I had no racial implications in this decision - I chose it mainly because the black fist is associated with a movement focused on nurturing the collective interests of the people and having their voices heard, aka: democracy!! Many movements for great social change have a symbol attached to them - black fist, peace sign, yadda yadda - and plenty of people jump on board without really putting their heart into it. But you can't forget to ACT!

Great message, but I don't think the graphic is powerful enough.

I like how simplistic it is, but I agree that it could be more powerful (maybe a bunch of hands?). That doesn't necessarily mean it NEEDS to be. The simplicity draws your eye to what's really important in the design; VOTE! 5$ :)

Thanks for all the feedback, kids! The Howard Stern logo is a rip off the Black Power sign - a pretty bad one at that seeing as how all he did was add "Howard" to the bottom...come on, man, be more clever. Anyway, the fist is a timeless symbol that's been used for ages in association with some form of revolution.



I do think it might be more effective with more fists...perhaps a line of them clenched and the one with the "vote" mixed in there? We'll see what my sleep deprived head can come up with ;) Thanks, guys an' gals!!

A row of hands would look really cool, and pack a more powerful punch!

I got the black power reference right away and really liked the whole thing, but I have to agree that a "mob" of fists would be better
