It is interesting, but it does not have a very good message. The art itself is nice, the characters are different and interesting. Racism may be a bad choice. If the bread (or perhaps you try a different food) did not portray real racism (like if you had purple and yellow instead of black and white), then the shirt would be a better design.

well I think the white bread thing is pretty funny and it just wouldn't be funny w/ any other food but... maybe make the two breads coming to gather to hang out or something instead to fight or glare at each other.

it has stuff from both sides maybe if the white toast could have more detail liek a shirt or tatoos cuz they look sorta plain besides the fact they are white lol its hiliarious |

I did laugh when I saw that it was bread gangs,....but then I read the comments and though that this probably isn't the smartest design. It's not racist, but it sure isn't smart. The more I look at it the more I think "No!"

mrfunkleberry on Aug 04 '08 this isn't racist, i just think the message 'white bread and brown bread like white men and black men don't get on' is a bit, well, naff? Not sure i'd walk around with a big cartoon on my chest reminding everyone in a cutesy way that we've got some social issues between gangs of opposite colours. cute bread though, have them sky diving into eggs, or a jumping contest out of a toaster, or maybe you can try to figure out why buttered toast always lands butter side down for us? I don't really get how this is racist. It's not my exact taste, but it's not like the whole-wheat bread's breaking into white bread's car. The shirt just plays with gangsta and wangsta stereotypes. Big whoop.
