I agree, maybe make each letter a different style, or if you think that effects the point of everything being the same except for the piece fitting in at the end, then i agree, jazz it up with a different font. Nice idea tho.

As it is, the design would fit communism quite nicely, but not democracy.

I hadn't thought of it that way until I read the critique, but Robotic Moose is right. However, technically communism is an economic system not a political one. Still I think this design while good in intent, is not representative of a democracy. In a democracy, there will inevitably be people who don't 'fit in'. The idea is that if you don't fit in and are dissatisfied, you can try to change society. You always have a voice.

...sorry I got carried away. But you get the idea. Anyway, 'close but no cigar' as the saying goes.

I understand your point, but in a democracy, even if you don´t fit in, there´s still a place for you, and a chance to state your opnions altough they´re not aligned with the majority. That was the ideia behind this design, but of course that there can be other interpretations.

to me, the color choices make it look like democrats (blue) are a missing piece that doesnt fit into the rest of the (republican) american puzzle...hmmm
