I like it but my eyes had trouble with it at first. There's no focal point...which I'm guessing is deliberate.

I didn't get a word in at the start, so I'll give a quick explanation. I'd like to keep this a bit ambiguous so I wont explain everything.

I will say this piece is intended to be a representation of the uniquely American brand of representative democracy that I've grown up in. It also does reference Hobbes Leviathan:

Specifically, I've always been interested in the cover illustration, and the whole concept of representing a political system through a figure. That's what I tried to do here.

I wouldn't go with ambiguous for a themed contest. It could be cool for regular submission though. Even if one doesn't know what he's looking at, in the mock up on the shirt, it looks good.

Love it. Especially the name, very creative reference. (For those who don't know, Hobbs, while one of the founders of liberalism, wasn't a huge fan of democracy.)
