It's pretty straight forward and slightly negative but true.

Democracy - government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.

Certainly you could point out that some systems that claim to be democracies are hypocritical, but democracy itself is not hypocrisy. If you are going to make a t-shirt critical of something I suggest you know what it is you are criticizing.

i agree with willy, the design seems to be pointing at all democratic ideas while it only applys to certain systems. i do like the art of the text. design just needs a more specific goal.

While I like the design, I think the design challenge is "threadless LOVES (not hates) Democracy". Not to mention, hypocricy is hard to read. Don't get me wrong! I like, just not for the challenge.

I don't give a shit that it's loves democracy, because really, democracy is hypocracy. While yes, the people seem to be making the choices, the government has the real choice in the end, does it not?
We supply the people, they supply their views. There are lies and cheating in a democracy, which contradicts the point of democracy in the first place.

yeah I guess that was a cheap shot. No offense to anyone's beliefs. I agree now that what it says is not completely true in all cases, but it's easy to be negative when you are having a bad day. I have started on another design which I think is much more positive. thx

The concept is really cool (and true). However, it's really hard to read hyp0crisy. After looking at it for a minute or so, I couldn't figure out what the word was (not until I read the comments). Also, it would be cool if Democracy was in red, white and blue and Hypocrisy was in black (or gray). Using color to further illustrate the contradiction of the two. Fix that and this design is a $5

Please read the definition of Democracy. The government does have the say in the end certainly, but a democratic government is elected by the people, therefore it's decisions are a reflection of the people. Just because you are angry with American democracy does not mean we should disregard Democracy as a political system. Please stop with this silly ignorance and take a poli-sci class.

Sure pal I will be sure to do that when i go to grad school. Didnt know this would be so awkward( littlewilly ). And thanks for the critique ( JonyMatt ), I agree I need to improve it in those aspects exactly.

First off I am sorry you were having a bad day at the time. Perhaps you are still having one, but that does not warrant an attempt to be-little (sorry bad pun) me. Then again this is the internets, and one insult deserves another so...I didn't realize they had graduate school for clowns Flappy...Also, your ignorance proves to be a source of more irony, I am not little. The ignorance and nastiness aside, I actually think the font you created is quite good. I simply take offense to the subject matter and the subsequent comments. You are more than welcome to criticize any political system you like, just make sure that you can actually back your critique up with a sound argument.

Think to yourself next time and save the political jargon for some ubernerd forum somewhere instead of ripping on me for my 5 minute sketch meant to test this site out. Just critique my work with a minimum of personal comments. OK Partner?.. (Flappy honks his nose horn)
