 This piece was originally done for the Threadless Peace and Hate competition, but I've made some changes, and upon prompting from some friends, decided to resubmit it.

That top bubble is looking awful purple to me, maybe it's my monitor, Anyhow, it's really the same color as the other thought bubble / the bubbles behind the sub.

I don't get the soap part. The image is nice. If the thought bubbles had a better connection, it would really complete this design.

I think the thunderbolt is to show how the sub is not a living thing but more like a machine. The soap if that's what it is? Awfully red if it is, is really a puzzle. ginetteginette's explanation truly makes sense to me actually. But the whale looks disgruntled to me rather than smug.

The whale isn't supposed to have an expression, neither is the sub, hence the though bubbles.
