Bonnie + Clyde, two notorious criminals that lived and died by the gun. I took a little artistic liberty with Bonnie, gave her more of a menacing and wild look than she is seen in photos from that time. And Clyde, well he's just Clyde. I also wanted them to look like they were dead but alive.

Seriously, I was JUST thinking "when is someone going to do a Bonnie and Clyde sub?" And then POOF! This appeared. Very very nice job on their expressions. Here's $5!

The original Natural Born Killers, love the sketchy style and the criss-crossed guns showing more than holding hands ever could for these two lovers. Nice stuff indeed for the contest.

I kind of agree about the text at least on the front. It might be cool to have an edgy type heart on the back, top-center with either "B + C" or "Bonnie + Clyde" carved in it.

Robsoul on Jul 25 '08 Hey, thanks everyone. I think the text is necessary so that people know that it is Bonnie + Clyde, but yeah, if you see the detail it is scratchy/carved looking.

mezo on Jul 25 '08 This is amazing and the text execution is icing on the cake- though I do with the text were elsewhere and not so dead center at the bottom. Maybe skew it a little and reverse it out and layer it over the figures where the guns meet? Still, lovely tribute! 4

Great line work and characterizations. I love the guns crossing, as FA already pointed out, it's like holding hands for these two. Also, one of the few entries in the sex & death contest that's really on theme. Definitely want it on red, adds to the story. $5
