About my design

by elvisshow
The sweet treat of a monkey tail. Perhaps the hard truth about where they really come from, or maybe how monkies really feel about them.

Where are you from? I've never heard them called that. They are called chocolate-covered bananas, even at the Minnesota State Fair, which has everything on a stick. Including alligator meat and friend candy bars. So I don't get whether this is a British thing, a Canadian thing, or a regional U. S. thing. :)

...Fried candy bars. Sad but true.

I like this, even though it's rooted in elvisshow's bizarre, esoteric dialect in which the universally named 'chocolate covered bananas' are called Monkey Tails. Monkey Tails! Really, where are you from? I hope this gets made into a shirt. I'm giving it a 5. Do you also call soda 'pop' and drinking fountains 'bubblas'?

Strange enough I am from North Carolina. It was my girlfriend who told me of the term. She is originally from California and they are sold in stores (fairs, ice cream shops etc.) as monkey tails, and here in north carolina they are also sold as Monkey tails. On another note, being from north carolina we tend to occasionally use "soda" but mostly we say "drink". I am glad that even thought this doesnt seem to be a national name for chocolate covered bananas i am glad you all seem to like it.

OH! and sometimes for some reason you have to click the design button before clicking the othr buttons for them to work, sometimes it does that and other times it doesnt.
