I really like the asian masks. I know the center mask is supposed to stand out, but it looks too out of place. I don't feel the statement is strong enough to justify the center mask.

I think the asian masks are really good and really interesting . The center mask is something you buy at wal-mart/(or some cheap store) the day before holloween cause you decided not to put any effort into a costume.

Nice. I actually like the placement and positioning of the masks. Works better on black- the imagery doesn't fade into the background. I wonder if the whole composition would flow better if you used the Jason mask, or something that resembles the form of the asian masks?

I think that the kabuki masks are strong enough on their own without the scream one. i know it kind of defeats the object of the design, i just think it might look nicer

how about on a dark grey? white or black just seems so... hot topic.

i did try grey indeed, but is kind of not match...cause i still need this 2 basic color to do the contrast job...

The Scream mask is quite an old joke and out of date now, perhaps it would be better if it was something that looks similar to the other masks but when you look again the difference stands out.

I think it would be fun with a Mardi Gras style mask that utilizes all the colors of the Asian masks... not as dated... integrates color...

Not on white.

I love the masks, well drawn and each character made different. No copy and paste, a lot of work, and well worth the effort.

The scream mask stands out as the odd one of the bunch as you intended but lacks a clear reason for being chosen. So, it seems arbitrary, different for the sake of being different rather than making a meaningful statement. I think a native American Indian mask (Northwest totem masks) might differentiate as well as the scream does but would also add an East meets West theme, a reason for being, (just a thought).

Another suggestion would be to rearrange the Asian masks around the odd mask in varying distances from it. The design would more engage the viewer because it would be asymmetrical, where as a symmetrical design is less challenging because it's arranged in a predictable pattern and doesn't require much to figure out. Also, the design would work well on a light gray shirt, that would save you from the white shirt haters. White stains easily, goes gray or yellowish after a few washes and it makes people look bigger. It's worth staying away from unless it's crucial to the design.

Anyway, sorry for going on, a solid 4 for the art, and I would really encourage you to rethink the design and resubmit.
