cool style! great first sub

I really like the look... I would probably change the placement as others have said... and the little, skinny green arms kind of throw me... *shrug*

I agree with previous poster. The green arm also throws me off. Just a little bit more visible would be nice. The placement would be better if it was more different, less conventional. This depends a lot in my mind on how large the image is. I agree with one of the earlier posters that the image needs to be expanded, otherwise, I really love this. To make this really funny I would put them on an electric telephone wire and play with that.

Bigger, definitely, and I'd make it off-center with the bigger bird's head up by the shoulder, the other birds much bigger cause their faces are AWESOME and I want to see them... and eh, I'd actually put the "arms" tucked behind the bird feet and make one of them more noticeably floppy, kicked out and kind of squished into the "ground" like how a stuffed flamingo leg is all flimsy... but that's me.

One thing that is bugging me just a tiny bit=the angle of the costumed creature's head... it kind of looks like a really odd rocko's modern life style ... dog-bird-thing because the beak and eyes don't look much like bird ones so the beak ends up instead resembling, weird enough, a dog nose with that shadow (on the shirt, from a distance especially) mimicking a mouth. Making it orange (at least on the side "closest" to us, our visual right) could help, maybe? I know it currently matches the other birds, but it's a costume, so it can break a rule or two if it makes the creature more clear? Maybe? Just thinking out loud.
